Don’t you just love those days working in your home office? (especially with essential oils in the diffuser)
Whether you are updating your social media accounts, completing client’s records or creating new offers…
As a certified Aromatherapist and keen advocate of Essential Oil based products, I am especially fond of using my diffuser in my home office as well as the rest of the house too.
Here are five of my favourite oils and their reported qualities.
Frankincense is such a gorgeous oil (in my opinion) I use a Frankincense skincare range which is divine. (I aim to write a separate post about the delights of using the skincare I choose to use) but for now, Frankincense is uplifting, soothing and warming (so comforting to use when you are working alone..). Can be used in a diffuser, with massage, and in the bath – always ask an aromatherapist who is qualified to mix oils and advise if you need help.
Lavender Essential Oil, as you may know, has reported relaxation properties, is balancing and soothing too. Lovely to use in the diffuser when you are ready to wind down when you are factoring in some ‘you’ time. Lavender is also a purifying oil and is reported to have antiseptic and anti-fungal properties.
Is known to be beneficial for tension and has uplifting and balancing properties, ideal when you’ve been on that laptop too long! Caution – Do not Use in pregnancy and with alcohol
This oil is known for its uplifting and refreshing nature and can be used in a diffuser, bath, and massage.
I especially love Tea Tree Essential Oil because of its clean aroma, I use a few drops in a carrier oil, then add to water to keep areas of the house smelling fresh, especially the kitchen. The oil is ideal for wiping the keyboard too.
Treat with caution as the oil can irritate sensitive skin. Here’s a pic from my Instagram account.
